Litter Goals:

Longevity and performance. Mr. Speaker lived just short of 16 years. His son Rusty lived over 16 years and his living son Dusty is still working at 9 years.  I tested Dusty's semen last year at 9.  He had over 800m in a single collection. Over 93% of it was viable.  Longevity and robust are key genetics I'm combining with a UK line.

Core Skills & Traits:

  • Retrieving: A primary goal is to excel at retrieving both on land and in water.
  • Hunting: Many WM Farms goldens are bred to be proficient hunters, possessing a strong prey drive and a natural instinct to mark, locate and retrieve game birds. 
  • Stamina & Agility:  WM Farms goldens work daily on 800 acres of mixed topography including a river.  Bred for endurance and agility, allowing progeny to work tirelessly in diverse field conditions. 
  • Trainability: Bred for intelligence and eagerness to please, progeny should be highly trainable, making them suitable for various working roles and canine sports. 

Activities & Events:

  • Hunt Test Options: Yes, evaluate a dog's natural ability and training against a standard, focusing on obedience, marking, handling, retrieving and finding birds. 
  • Hunting Options:  Yes, WM Farms field goldens are actively used in hunting, both upland and retrieving waterfowl. 
  • Canine Sport Options:  Able to participate in various canine sports like agility, obedience, and tracking. 
  • Search and Rescue Options: WM Farms have several active SAR companions. Including Ski, cadaver and natural disasters.  Their intelligence and trainability make them well-suited for search and rescue work. 

Beyond Work:

  • Family Companions:   While bred for work, field goldens are also known for their friendly and loving temperament, making them excellent family dogs.
  • "Off Switch":  Our goal is to produce goldens that can be active and focused in the field but also relax and enjoy life as a companion at home.

This litter has over 30 significant field and working titles in the first 5 generations and throughout the maternal and paternal lines. Including AFC, FC, Master National, Field Trials and IGL competitive level in the UK.  

 

Besides his MH title, Bridge qualified for Westminster's Masters Obedience 2016 - 2019. He finished 5th in 2016; 7th in 2018, 4th in 2018, and 3rd in 2019. He earned 4th place for the 2nd time In the Master's Class at the Obedience Classic in Orlando 2017.


He is a three time invitee to the National Obedience Championship 2016, 2017 and 2019 having taken a year out of much obedience to do agility. Bridge earned his Master Agility Championship in 2017! Extremely talented, biddable and an excellent representative of the diverse talent in the breed. 


This pedigree is an outbreeding between the US & UK for increased genetic diversity. With an emphasis on retaining  original field traits.  In addition, there are a number of hunting goldens and a variety of usages that all contribute and round out multiple key field traits.  


Out of 273 genetic tests, Sage (US x UK)  is completely heterozygous for all but 5.  She is completely CLEAR of all available genetic test and finished with OFA evaluation of  EXCELLENT hips and NORMAL elbows.  She has an excellent temperament and substantial field pedigree. 


All daily litter updates, videos and discussions for each litter will be on a private WhatsApp group. 

  • Deworming – after 3rd week, then every two weeks there after until they leave.
  • Dew claw left on - always
  • Wean – Around 5 weeks
  • AAHA recommended vaccinations and vet wellness check – 6 weeks
  • Every WM Farms litter will have a fecal float test through the USU vet lab.  Appropriate vet consulted action taken prior to pick up if required.
  • Pick Up @ 8 weeks. 
  • Puppies will be raised on kibble, RAW, pre & probiotics and pure salmon oil.
  • Puppies will be well socialized and given ample opportunity to explore the great outdoors.
  • Puppies will be temperament tested at 5-8 weeks. 


Registration
The pups will be sold on limited AKC registration. Full registration is available after you obtain the final standard health certifications. Genetic, eye, heart, hip and elbows. 


Warranty

All details included in the puppy contract. Coverage for hip, elbow and congenital.
